Description	Commonplace book containing poetry in various hands; pencil drawings of people, landscapes and buildings; small watercolours; two paintings of buildings on acetate(?) tentatively identified by William St Clair as places in India and possibly later than the rest of the volume. Between the two, a dried pressed leaf painted with a picture of flowers and a butterfly. Includes a printed page titled "Thoughts on Albums" likely taken from a commonplace-book exemplar. Opens with an address to the reader on the first page dated 1831.
