Many hand-coloured plates and coloured pencil drawings mostly of flowers, birds, and butterflies, sometimes to accompany the poetry and some full-page illustrations, one of which signed "Alice Back". A pressed leaf is pasted in to accompany the poem "Withered Leaves of Verbena". |
