DescriptionCommonplace album, with notes by William St Clair on the front free endpaper stating that the book contains "22 watercolours, 11 Swiss plates, and many others".The front free endpaper features a pencil drawing in colour framing the word "Scraps". Pages are of various colours of paper, with a section of blank pages in the middle of the book. The first entry is verse, entitled "To the Ideal". The remaining pages mostly contain cut-outs of prints, engravings, with handwritten titles below the images and often with a hand-drawn border framing them; there are a few pages containing verse. Includes a loose photograph at the front, and two loose engravings at the back of the book.
